HUNKELER UND DER FALL LIVIUS

synopsis

An old man called Livius has been shot in an allotment garden in Basel that actually lies on French territory. Chief Inspector Hunkeler is not allowed to investigate there and has to work together with the Alsatian Inspector Bardet. A suspect is soon found, but Hunkeler makes a significant discovery: the dead man used to be called Schmidt and had a shady past during the Second World War.
