synopsis

Antonio is a rich farmer who is very keen on microbiology. He explores the micro world with sophisticated digital and optical instruments as well as the universe of stars and planets, comparing them with scientific texts. With Antonio there is his twelve-year-old daughter, who discovers the world from a different point of view, and there is his eldest daughter, totally absorbed in her music.
A woman who wanders along the river and in the streets looking for a non-existing person is a relevant metaphor of the troubles of life. In addition, his sick father who re-discovers a meaning in the simple things and feelings of life.
