IT'S NOT OUR FAULT

by Carlo Verdone

synopsis

The film is set in Rome and has a choral structure. There are 8 characters at the centre of the events, one of who will die almost immediately. There are 3 women and 4 men both young and not so young, all linked together with a common thread: group analysis, which gives them a break from their weaknesses and fragility. It also gives them the chance to express their desire to change things, which is a major characteristic of our modern age. There's a complex weave which is painted in airy moments to slowly go back into the intimacy of the characters. Entertaining and intimate, a comedy full of laughs.
