TO THE INN

by Yorgos Bakolas

synopsis

Zissos and Apostolos are two Greeks who live in a city in the Ottoman Orient at the turn of the 20th century. Like some original sin, a load of gold sovereigns will lead them to travel and adventure and from there to their physical and spiritual deadlock. The inn is the stopover along the way, in the middle of the adventure. The "inn" is the myth of the journey as this is undermined by the story and the load carried by the people of the era.
