LITTLE ANGELS
synopsis
Exploring his family’s hidden story, Marco Niemeijer’s deeply moving and personal film reveals a universal picture of how events of the past shape who we are today.
At 97, Jewish Holocaust survivor, Enny, can’t forget what happened 70 years ago when her beloved husband and two young daughters were killed at Auschwitz. Now her only remaining daughter, Tascha, has spent her life feeling like a replacement for the family she never knew, wishing her mother could let go of the past and move on.
But sometimes memories are all we have to keep going.
