IMPASSE
by Elise Shubs
synopsis
A documentary about prostitution, without showing it. Women, for the majority migrants and mothers, courageously rent their body in order to make ends meet or are trapped in human trafficking. Away from clichés and prejudices, these women talk intimately and freely about the unspoken side of street prostitution or massage parlours in Switzerland, the impact of this work, survival, secrecy, destruction and hope.
