synopsis

At night, the young boy Ama and his companions travel through the bush of Boli Bana. A herd of huge and at the same time benevolent cattle accompanies them. By day, the young girl Aissita is the center of attention of Boli Bana village. A witch has arrived for a ritual: For Assista this is the beginning of adulthood. It is a nomadic and mystic world that comes into being through the eyes of these children. A Fulani childhood in Burkina Faso.
