HALF LIFE
by Vlado Fischer
synopsis
Forty-something Viktor, a man in “the worst years”, accidentally saves a young woman from committing a suicide. It turns out that Mia studies photography and it’s possible that she didn’t really want to end her life. Maybe she just wanted to take a photograph of herself in the waves of the Danube. Viktor falls in love with her while his wife Karla seeks consolation in alcohol. Viktor gets more and more entangled in the web of the uneven relationship with the girl. And his lost youth is nowhere in sight...
