Frédéric Mermoud

After obtaining an MA in Philosophy at the University of Geneva and at the film school (ECAL) in Lausanne, Frédéric Mermoud makes several short films that win international awards, including  L’Escalier (2003) that earns him the Swiss Film Award and Rachel (2006), nominated for a César. In 2009, he directs Accomplices, screened as part of the Concorso internazionale in Locarno, then, in 2012, he signs four episodes of the series The Returned (2012). Moka (2016) is his second feature film.
