Hans Petter Moland

Born in Oslo on 17.10.1955, he studied at Emerson College in Boston and has been a director for around twenty years.

A commercials director, his three feature films include performances by Stellan Skarsgård and Charlotte Rampling. His 1995 feature, KJÆRLIGHETENS KJØTERE, was awarded the special Jury Prize at San Sebastian Film Festival and ABERDEEN, made in the year 2000, won the main prize at the Nordic Film Days Lübeck. His most recent Berlinale outing was the 2004 Competition entry BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY.
