Massimo Natale

Italy, 1962. After twenty years working in press offices for theatre, cinema, music and TV, he went on to direct many theatrical productions among which the successful Sabrina (2005) and Notting Hill (2006).

In 2007 he moved over to cinema writing and directing the short Amiche, with the support of the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities, Cinema Department, and produced by Mario Mazzarotto’s Intelfilm. In 2008 he created and directed, for Intelfilm, many TV ads.

Based on screenplay Luglio ’80 by Giorgio Fabbri, winner in 2007 of the Franco Solinas Prize, L’estate di Martino is his first full length feature. (Source: Rome film festival)
