Jonathan Sagall
Jonathan Sagall was born in Toronto in 1962. Aat the age of eleven he moved to Israel with his parents. He attended the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and began an acting career in 1977. After appearing in the LEMON POPSICLE series as well as in SCHINDLER’S LIST he made his debut as a feature film director in his own right with URBAN FEEL which screened in Competition at the Berlinale in 1999. He has directed three of his own stage plays, is a published short story author and in 1998 co-wrote an Israeli-Palestinian version of SESAME STREET. His film LIPSTIKKA (2011) was in the official competition at the 2011 Berlinale. (Source : Berlin Film Festival)
