Göran Hugo Olsson

Göran Hugo Olsson was born in Lund in Sweden in 1965. He studied film at university and art school in Stockholm and subsequently worked as a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer. The creator of a self-made Super 16mm film camera, he has also made numerous corporate films, music videos and documentaries. He is also a member of the team of commissioning editors at Ikon (SVT) and Ikon South Africa. His documentary BLACK POWER MIXTAPE 1967-1975 won 3 prizes among which the World Cinema Documentary Film Editing Award of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. (Source : Berlin Film Festival)
