Massoud Bakhshi

Iranian director, writer and producer. Born in 1972 in Tehran. He studied filmmaking in Italy and cultural finance formation in France. He has worked as a film critic. He has made several documentaries and short films which won national and international prizes. He is one of the new generation's filmmakers in Iran. A Respectable Family, shot in Iran, is his first feature film and was shown at the Cannes festival in the Directors' Fortnight section (2012).
