Jeppe Rønde

Jeppe Rønde has directed feature films, commercials and documentaries since graduating from the University of Copenhagen in 2002. His debut feature, Jerusalem My Love won countless international prizes and his second, The Swenkas won Jeppe the best International director award at the Toronto Film Festival. He’s won several ‘Roberts’ (Danish equivalent of the Oscars) for his tv and feature length documentary work. In commercials, Jeppe was voted the top director in Denmark in 2010, and at the Cannes Ad Festival in 2013, he won a Gold Lion for Best Direction, plus a bronze for cinematography for Come 4 The Lover, a seemingly seedy look at one mans obsession with sex and prostitution, with a twist. The film has also just won the Craft Grand Prix at Eurobest. Brigend is his last feature.
