Kinology to the power of 16

With a rich line-up headed by Johnnie To’s Palme d’Or contender Vengeance (majority French production starring Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Testud), French international sales company Kinology will present 16 titles at the Film Market at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival (May 13-24).

The team helmed by Grégoire Melin (see interview) will start sales for several new films. Promotional reels will be shown for Jean-Paul Salomé’s The Chameleon [+see also:

Meanwhile, negotiations will be made on the basis of the screenplay for Marc Fitoussi’s Copacabana, starring Isabelle Huppert; as well as for Benoît Philippon’s Lullaby For Pi, featuring Rupert Friend, Clémence Poésy, Matt Ward and Forest Whitaker (co-production between France’s Forecast Pictures with Canada and US company Killer Films).

Market premières will include Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache’s family comedy So Happy Together [+see also:

, starring Isabelle Carré, Vincent Elbaz, François-Xavier Demaison and Audrey Dana. Meanwhile, the first images will be unveiled in a promo-reel for Joann Sfar’s Je T’Aime… Moi Non Plus (formerly known as Serge Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life - see news).
