Medusa and Rainbow unite for Winx in 3D
This autumn, Medusa Film will distribute the newest instalment of the animated films on the winged fairies, Winx Club 3D: Magic Adventure, a Rainbow production.
Directed by Rainbow founder and president Iginio Straffi, Winx Club 3D: Magic Adventure is Italy’s first CGI 3D film. It comes three years after the first film in the series based on the popular TV show, Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom, which was a hit with audiences at the box office.
Says Straffi: “Rainbow was created to be a point of reference in animation production for children and beyond. Making this new CGI 3D film with the backing of a major distributor such as Medusa is important and emphasizes the quality of our productions and the great attention they have earned.”
Magic Adventure is slated to be released domestically on October 29, 2010.
