Pyramide unveils Outside Satan and other assets

With a line-up spearheaded by three titles in official selection at the 64th Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off tomorrow, French international seller Pyramide is looking forward to a productive Film Market on the Croisette.

Eric Lagesse and Yoann Ubermulhin’s team will sell two of the most attractive films in this year’s exciting Un Certain Regard selection (see news): Outside Satan [+see also:

by France’s Bruno Dumont (see news); and closing film Elena by Russia’s Andrei Zvyagintsev. Meanwhile, Ismaël Ferrouki’s Free Men [+see also:

(see news), featuring rising star Tahar Rahim, will get a special screening.

Other highlights in Pyramide’s line-up include two features in post-production which will be ready in September: Philippe Faucon’s The Disintegration (formerly known as Un Fils Perdu - see news); and Jean-Pierre Denis’s Here Below (see news).

The company will also pre-sell two titles which are still shooting: Ilmar Raag’s Une Estonienne à Paris (“An Estonian in Paris”, see news); and Frédéric Videau’s Coming Home (see news), which centres on a young woman who is freed after eight years of confinement and has to face the world again.

On the Croisette, Pyramide will also launch pre-sales for Three Worlds by Catherine Corsini (Leaving [+see also:

), a contemporary drama about guilt, justice, forgiveness and redemption. It will start shooting this summer with a cast including Clotilde Hesme, Raphaël Personnaz and Arta Dobroshi.

Negotiations will also get underway for Wakolda by Lucia Puenzo (Grand Prize in Cannes Critics’ Week 2007 with XXY [+see also:

), also in pre-production.

Finally, sales will also be completed for films that have attracted attention at previous markets, including Alix Delaporte’s Angèle and Tony [+see also:
