, the king of Tuscan humour is back behind the camera with a comedy produced by Levante, in collaboration with Medusa Film.

Co-written by the director and Giovanni Veronesi (The Manual of Love), Finalmente la Felicità centres on music teacher Lucca (Pieraccioni) who discovers that his recently-deceased mum was a long-distance adoptive parent to a little Brazilian girl. Now the girl, who has grown into a beautiful model, is in Italy and wants to meet her Italian "brother".

The clash between the different cultures give rise to hilarious situations and dramatic twists. But if fate has brought these two together, there must be a reason.

Shooting on Finalmente la Felicità will last eight weeks in total: three in Sardinia, four in Lucca and one in Rome. The film will be released in theatres at Christmas time by Medusa Film.
