Registrations are open for the Rome Independent Film Festival

- The 2013 edition of the Rome Independent Film Festival will take place from the 4th to the 12th of April, there will be 150 films in competition

Registrations are now open for the 12th Rome Independent Film Festival (RIFF), which will take place from the 4th to the 12th of April 2013 at the Nuovo Cinema Aquila and the Casa del Cinema di Roma. The deadline for submitting a film for the 2013 edition of this important event in international independent cinema is set for the 15th of December 2012. Around 150 films will be selected for the competition.

There are eight competitive sections: Feature Films (Italian and international feature films); New Frontiers (debut films); Documentary Films (Italian and international); Short Films (Italian and international); International Student Films (film schools); Animation; Screenplays and Subject; Movie Pitcher Contest.

The RIFF2013’s program will be enriched by retrospectives and seminars that will deal with various aspects of indie cinema. At the end of the festival the RIFF Awards will be presented with a value of about 50million euro.
