CANNES 2013 Critics' Week

The selection unveiled

- David Perrault of France, Paul Wright of Great Britain and Italian directors Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza in competition in the Critics' Week at the Cannes Film Festival

Four filmmakers from the Old Continent will be competing in the 52nd edition of the Critics' Week running from May 16th to 24th as part of the 66th Cannes Film Festival. Revealed today at an on-line press conference (to be viewed on the "Semaine de la Critique" website) by general delegate Charles Tesson, the programme for the 2013 edition includes seven European productions and coproductions among the feature films on the menu.

. It's also worth noting that Germany and France coproduced another contender: the Indian film The Lunchbox Dabba by Ritesh Batra. The competition is completed by feature films from Russia, Canada and Argentina.

The jury of the 2013 Critics’ Week feature film competition will be presided by Portuguese filmmaker Miguel Gomes (news), whilst French director Mia Hansen-Løve will preside the jury of the short films and that of the Revelation Prize.
