Creative Europe at the European Day in Rome
- November 15 is set to be an information day on European Union financing of the audiovisual sector
On November 15, for the sixth year running, an information day on European Union financing of the audiovisual sector will take place at the Casa del Cinema, within the context of the Rome Film Festival’s European Day. The event is being organised in cooperation with MEDIA Desk Italia.
Michel Magnier, general director for culture and creativity within the Instruction and Culture division of the European Commission, and Silvia Costa (photo), a member of the European Parliament and the reference person for the Creative Europe Programme, will present results from talks between European Union institutions which gave life to the new seven year Creative Europe programme (2014-2020) in support of audiovisual and cultural industries. Its final approval is imminent.
