) will be the president of the Official Competition jury at the 59th British Film Institute (BFI) London Film Festival (7-18 October). Other jurors include actors Kristin Scott Thomas (Suite Française [+see also:

Pawlikowski said, “It is an honour to be jury president for the BFI London Film Festival this year especially as my last film Ida won the Best Film Award in 2013 at the very beginning of its journey.” 

The Best Film Award will be presented to the winner of the Official Competition on 17 October. Films in contention this year are Jerzy Skolimowski’s 11 Minutes [+see also:
