Always very well placed in the various sections at Cannes, the international sales team of French group MK2 (led by Nathanaël Karmitz) will arrive at the Film Market of the 69th Cannes Film Festival (which will be held from 11 to 22 May 2016) with a tantalising line-up of 10 films, including two feature films in the Official Selection, one of which will be competing for the Palme d’Or: Personal Shopper [+see also:

Films in the pre-production line-up include Mrs Hyde by Serge Bozon (loosely based on the classic by Stevenson starring Isabelle Huppert, Gérard Depardieu and Romain Duris - article) and P.E.A.R.L by Elsa Amiel with Mathieu Amalric and Peter Mullan heading up the cast in a film that will centre around British bodybuilding star Lea Pearl, whose ex-boyfriend and six-year-old son, who she hasn’t seen in years, show up just a few hours between the most important competition of her career (the project is being led by Bruno Nahon and Caroline Nataf for Unité de Production with Lionel Baier for Swiss company Bande à Part).

The market screenings will feature dramatic comedy We Can Be Heroes [+see also:
