The ARP unveils the programme for the 26th Film Meetings in Dijon

Currently co-chaired by Julie Bertuccelli and Michel Hazanavicius, the ARP (Civil Society of Writers-Directors-Producers), a professional organisation with great influence on the French film industry, is preparing for the 26th edition of its traditional Film Meetings, which will be held in Dijon from 20 to 22 October 2016 and will be chaired by director Emmanuelle Bercot.

(in other words, the place of cinema in Europe today, the resources thrown behind it and the prospects at European level for defending diversity, changes in the pipeline in Brussels, etc.) and a discussion on the subject of "Film and broadcasters: towards a new e-deal?" (the deciphering, most notably, of the arrival of new stakeholders on the scene, for example SFR, which has announced its desire to produce films, and of the need to make them part of the virtuous and well-organised circle of funding of works in France; along with an exploration of the strategies for the multi-support broadcasting of traditional TV channels and the consequences on the industry’s economy, etc.).

As well as the debates, the 700 professionals expected in Dijon will include a number of filmmakers who will present the premieres of their films, including 150 Milligrams [+see also:
