Starting from today, 30 November, audiences in Tarragona have seven whole days to enjoy the crème de la crème of international films – 18 movies hailing from 11 different countries, all of which are debut works – thanks to the 16th REC Tarragona International Film Festival, an event that keeps its finger on the pulse of the new figures and perspectives in the world of film, directed by Xavier García Puerto (read the interview from this time last year). , the intensely personal story that Ado Arrietta (France/Spain) filmed after a lengthy hiatus from the feature-length fiction format, which was world-premiered at the latest Seville Film Festival and will hit French screens on 28 December.

In between, a professional day will be held on 3 December, delving into the expansive mechanisms of transmedia audiovisual production, with contributions from Cineuropa’s editor-in-chief, Domenico La Porta, and experts Alicia Kopf, Ananda Pellerin and Francesco Giai, among others. In addition, the third iteration of Primer Test will unspool, offering advice from international specialists to projects at the production stage.
