, the feature film version of the Sky Atlantic series that screened to plaudits at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, headlines the cast. Featuring alongside are Rupert Graves, known for his portrayal of Detective Inspector Lestrade in television’s Sherlock, Jim Carter, the veteran actor who made a mark in television’s Downton Abbey, Jane Horrocks (Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie [+see also:

), Adeel Akhtar, Thomas Turgoose and Charlotte Riley.

Stewart le Marechal and Anna Mohr-Pietsch of Met Film (UK) are producing with Maggie Montheith of Dignity Film Finance (US), in association with Amp Film (Sweden). Paul Webster and Guy Heeley of Shoebox Films (UK) are serving as executive producers.

Icon Film Distribution will distribute the film in the UK and Ireland in 2018. HanWay Films is handling international sales and have already sold to Icon for Australia, Alamode for Germany and the Sun Distribution Group for Spain and Latin America. 

Parker made his directing debut with Shakespeare adaptation Othello (1995). He went on to adapt Oscar Wilde in An Ideal Husband (1999) that scored a BAFTA nomination for adapted screenplay. The Importance of Being Earnest (2002) was another Wilde adaptation, as was Dorian Gray [+see also:
