Co-written by the director and Bastien Daret, who adapted Les Affamés, Chroniques d’une jeunesse qui ne lâche rien, a first draft written by Léa Frédeval and published in 2014, the screenplay centres around the idea that "being young today is no better or worse than in other times; it’s just different", and around Zoé, 22 years old, who has had enough of hearing people say, "It’s normal, you’re young!" Determined to change things, she rallies a generation of hungry young people around her. Together, they assert their constant hunger for a radiant future!

Produced by Charles Philippe and Lucile Ric for Les films du clan, Les Affamés is being co-produced by France 2 Cinéma and StudioCanal (which is handling the film’s distribution in France and international sales). Also pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature is being supported by the A Plus Image Sofica. It is due to be released in France in spring 2018.

This is the first feature film to be produced by Les films du clan, which will also start filming another feature film over the summer: Les Météorites [+see also:
