), the story revolves around Lukas, a nightclub bouncer who has been forced to become an informant for the police, as it’s his last chance to avoid losing custody of his eight-year-old daughter. His mission is to infiltrate the organisation of a dangerous Flemish gang leader which is forging money.

Produced by Julien Madon (a European Film Promotion Producer on the Move in 2016) and Julien Leclercq for Labyrinthe Film with Aimée Buidine and Jérémie Guez for Atchafalaya Films (the two companies are working together under the Cheyenne Films banner), The Bouncer is being co-produced by Belgian outfits Umedia (Bastien Sirodot) and 10:80 Films (Nadil Ben Yadir and Benoît Roland), as well as by C8 Films. Having also been pre-purchased by Canal+Ciné+ and CStar, The Bouncer is being shot over seven weeks in Belgium, and principal photography is due to wrap on 28 March. The French distribution will be handled by Océan Films, while the international sales are being overseen by Other Angle Pictures.
