In partnership with T-Port and Lyon’s CinéFabrique, Les Arcs Film Festival will be launching a new programme at its10th edition (15 to 22 December) - Talent Village - which is intended to further highlight the emerging talents of the European film industry. Seven to ten filmmakers – who have already made at least one short film and have written a plan for a feature film project – will be selected. An important point of reference for young graduates from some of the best film schools in Europe and for international festivals alike, the lucky chosen ones will participate (alone or with their producers) in a one-week workshop. The schedule will include three days in Lyon, with events such as meetings (with iconic filmmakers and professionals in production, international sales, festival programming, etc.), pitch-doctoring sessions, and opportunities to collaborate with young composers from the Conservatoires de Musique in Lyon and Paris. The selected filmmakers will then present their projects for four days at Les Arcs Village des Coproductions (from 15 to 18 December), which brings together more than 500 independent European film professionals. It should be noted that one of the projects will be selected from the short films showcased on the T-Port platform (developed by Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, the platform allows viewers to watch more than 400 films online from some of the best film schools around the globe).

For the record, the 10th Les Arcs Film Festival has just launched its call for projects for the next Coproduction Village (with a deadline of 13 September, click here to apply) and the Poland will be honoured at this year's festival.
