by Claire Burger wins the GdA Director's Award at the 15th edition of Giornate degli Autori at Venice. The film by the French director – which stars Bouli Lanners in a touching role as  a man abandoned by his wife, who finds himself single-handedly taking care of his teenage daughters – won over a jury chaired by the director Jonas Carpignano and composed of members of the "28 Times Cinema" project, which gave the following motivation: "Claire Burger's film is an extremely engaging story about the difficult situations life places us in, whether we must face the end of a marriage, or our heart is broken for the first time. We chose this film due to its tenderness and the extraordinary technical mastery the director displays in order to keep all the film’s elements under control."
