Another programme of European films for public primary school classes at Bergen Kino will take place on October 20th and 21st. 15 school classes have subscribed to participate in the screening of one feature film and several shorts, and each class will then be able to make its own short film which will be presented at the Bergen Kino in the Spring 2004.

October 22nd will be the School Cinema Day at Bergen Kino, on October 16th to 22nd the Bergen International Film Festival run by Bergen Kino will present a wide programme of over 40 films (half of them of European origin). Meanwhile this year's edition of the Bergen Art Festival (October 10-22nd) will focus on 'Film-The Seventh Art', presenting film as an art from different other art forms such as music, literature, theatre and fine arts. Aimed mostly at students from the university of Bergen, the event will give them the opportunity to view films from the London based digital festival 'Onedotzero' at Bergen Kino. Run by Stein Sandvik, Bergen Kino owns the 13 screens complex Konsertpaleet and will add another five screens with 1000 seats in 2004.
