Speakers from Italy, UK, and The Netherlands will compare their release strategies, looking at aspects such as acquisition, marketing, press, release plans, audience reach and results theatrically and online, and how they adapted their tactics to suit their own region, also considering the important role of funding in these endeavours, with the help of the Norwegian and Finnish film funds. The speakers are Beatrice Moia (Wanted Cinema, Italy), Eva Zvedeniuk (Modern Films, UK), Hans Kok (Arti Film, The Netherlands), Hanne Merethe Okstad (Norwegian Film Fund, Norway) and Jenni Domingo (The Finnish Film Foundation, Finland), and the session will be moderated by journalist and media consultant Michael Gubbins. In line with the partnership between Europa Distribution and New Nordic Films, distributors in attendance will also participate in festival activities such as the Nordic Co-production Market, Market Screenings and Work in Progress Screenings.
