Black humor and crimes for Alex de la Iglesia’s new film entitled Crimen Ferpecto, which will start ten weeks of programmed shooting next Monday in Madrid and Seville.

Written by the director himself, in collaboration with his long-time associate Jorge Guerrica Echevarria, the film is a co-production of Spanish companies Panico Film, Sogecine and the Italian firm of Planet Pictures and will have a budget of 3.7 million euros. The plot focuses on an elegant and meticulous man willing even to kill to get what he wants. He becomes the object of desire for an ugly and obsessive woman and, after being persecuted day and night, he decides to get rid of her. The interpreters include Guillermo Toledo, who already starred in L'altro lato del letto (The Other Side of the Bed), and Monica Cervera (Hongos, Piedras). Now at his seventh full-length feature film, this director from Bilbao is keeping fans up to date about this new film on his official web site, which includes some scenes from his own personal storyboard.
