Leading actress

- Mia is the youngest sister, the latecomer to the family

Born in 1972. The first time Sofia Helin and Maria Blom worked together was during the final production at National academy of mime and acting in 2001. Sofia performed in the play Liten tuva, which Maria wrote and directed. Since then, Sofia has played several roles at the Stockholm City and been on the big screen in Fyra nyanser av brunt and Rånarna, plus performed in several TV series (Tusenbröder, Aspiranterna, Rederiet...). To learn the Dalecarlian accent for the film, Sofia had a dialect coach. "I met a girl from Rättvik who helped me. I’d walk around town listening to the lines on my CD player. But it wasn’t that hard. I honestly thought it would be much more difficult."
"Mia is the youngest sister, the latecomer to the family. Fifteen years ago, she left her village and moved to the capital of Stockholm. She’s a real Stockholm wannabe, and has gone full tilt for big city life. She’s at the pinnacle of her career, just having been promoted and bought hear dream apartment in the city centre. Everything seems perfect. But that’s just on the surface".
