film profile] by Roberto Benigni immediately jumped to the top of the Box Office Charts in a weekend that began with a strike by entertainment industry workers last Friday against the proposed 2006 Finance Law cuts.
The Tuscan actor/director’s film grossed over 3m euro on the 754 screens monitored by Cinetel, with a per screen average of 4,110 euro.
In second place is North American film The Exorcism of Emily Rose, which fell from the top spot, and still holding in third and fourth place, respectively, are Monster-In-Law and domestic film Romanzo criminale [+see also:
