), Swiss-Belgian actor Jeremy Lewin (who rose to fame in the series Osmosis), Christian Mazzuchini, Stéphan Guérin-Tillié, Aurélien Chaussade and Nicolas Briançon.

The story, written by Cédric Kahn and Nathalie Hertzberg, unfolds in November 1975, as the second trial begins for Pierre Goldman, a far-left militant. During his first trial, he was sentenced to life in prison for four armed robberies, one of which led to the death of two chemists. He protests his innocence in relation to this last charge and, after a few weeks, becomes an icon for the intellectual left. Georges Kiejman, a young lawyer, handles his defence. But very soon, their relationship becomes increasingly strained. The evasive and provocative Goldman is at risk of the death sentence and makes the outcome of his trial uncertain.

Produced by Benjamin Elalouf (see the interview) for Moonshaker and co-produced by Trop de bonheur Productions, The Goldman Case has been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+. The feature has also secured an advance on receipts from the CNC and has been supported by the Cinémage, Indéfilms and SG Image Soficas. Interestingly, the cinematography has been entrusted to Patrick Ghiringhelli (nominated for the Lumière and César Awards in his category this year, for The Night of the 12th [+lee también:
