Headed up by Jérôme Levy, and with David Atlan-Jackson serving as chief content officer, Vuelta Group has made a thunderous entrance into the European film and audiovisual industry landscape. Based in Paris, the studio was founded last July upon the incorporation of French international sales agent Playtime, Scandinavian distribution and production firm Scanbox, and German distributor SquareOne under its umbrella. Now it is Italian company Indiana Production’s turn to board Vuelta Group. As a reminder, the Rome-based outfit recently presented Lubo [+lee también:

Vuelta Group has also taken a 30% stake in the French production and distribution group Pan, which presently has The Price of Money: A Largo Winch Adventure by Olivier Masset-Depasse (see the article) in post-production and the animated film Les Légendaires by Guillaume Ivernel in production.

Each entity will continue to work independently within Vuelta Group while also being able to call upon the financing capabilities of the parent company (which has access to investment funds) and/or the partner firms’ expertise. It therefore represents a way for the independent companies within it to strive for productions that are more ambitious on an international level.
