BA in Photography and Film: This course offers a unique opportunity to reflect life through a lens in either or both photography and film. Students are encouraged to strive to be creative and intelligent image-makers / film-makers.

BA in Visual Communication (Film and Television): The course provides students with a broad spectrum of practical experience, enabling them to use film and video as a means of creative expression. Students may work in established formats such as documentary, drama and commercials, or may make experimental films in which students seek to define their own creative agenda. The emphasis is firmly on projects as the means by which learning occurs.

MA in Film: A year-long Master’s for filmmakers with a BA and some previous experience. Teaching is by specialism and students are expected to apply as directors, cinematographers, sound designers or editors. During the year students will work on 1, 2, 5 and 10-minute fiction films, using state-of-the-art digital cinematography equipment and super 16mm film.

MA and MFA in Film Directing: The MA & MFA programmes in Film Directing take a project-led, practice-based collaborative approach. Students choose either documentary or fiction and also collaborate on an experimental film. While allowing them to explore their creativity, the course encourages ways of working that foster the exchange of ideas. The course encourages a fresh approach to changing technologies.

MA and MFA in Animation: Using a creative studio approach to cutting-edge narrative animation, the course provides resources that enable students to work to a high professional standard. Digital technology plays an important part in most students’ work and, as well as computers, the school provides a variety of film and video equipment for creating 2D and 3D stop-frame animation.
