NOS FEMMES

by Richard Berry

synopsis

Max, Paul, and Simon have been friends for thirty-five years. Their friendship is joyful, loyal, and without any quarrels. Although they've enjoyed successful professional lives, their personal lives have resulted in more mixed outcomes. One evening, our three friends have planned to get together at Max's place to play cards. Simon arrives looking a complete wreck and tells them that he's had a domestic argument with his wife Estelle - and that he strangled her in a fit of rage. Max and Paul are terror-stricken. Particularly when Simon begs them to provide an alibi to avoid prison. Max and Paul hesitate. Should they lie to the police or denounce their best friend?
