ELYSIUM HERNALSIENSE

by Bernhard Kammel

synopsis

A man is being treated at the intensive care unit of the Hospital for Eternal Life in a Viennese suburb. Many years ago, she left him without a word only to return a few hours before he was hospitalized. Reality, memories and wishes meld in his daydreams. When his condition suddenly deteriorates, his mother has him prepped to be cryogenically frozen and his ex-wife prepares to donate him her own blood. Then events take an unexpected turn. Or so it seems…
