synopsis

Tom Vatanen, a paparazzi photographer for a people’s magazine, is at the height of his career, when a series of misunderstandings land him in prison. One year after his release, he runs over a hare. The event results in a steadfast friendship that leads them to one adventure after another, from the American continent to the North Pole.
Based on the novel by Arto Paasilinna.
