David Lambert

Born in Belgium in 1974, David Lambert graduated in Classical Philology at the University of Liège. Lambert wrote his first script when he was nearly thirty years old, and after a large experience in the world of theatre, where he made his first steps as director. He worked later two years for the francophone channel RTB, specifically in a children’s programme named Ici Bla-Bla, and started to collaborate in the scripts by French and Belgian producers. He shot his first short film in 2009, Vivre encore un peu, which attracted the attention in Locarno and smoothed the way for his debut with Hors les murs. (Source: Sevilla Festival de Cine Europeo)
