Jean-François LaguionieFrench director and producer of animation films. Born in 1939 in Besançon, France. He studied applied arts and worked together with animator Paul Grimault. In 1978 his short film Rowing Across the Atlantic won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. The Painting was nominated for the César Award. (Source: Warsaw Film Festival) Selected filmography
