Sébastien Lifshitz

Born on 22.1.1968 in Paris, where he studied art history from 1987-93.

During this time he worked, among other things, as an assistant to the photographer, Suzanne Lafont. He directed his first short film in 1994 and, in 1996, worked a trainee director on Claire Denis’film, Nenette et Boni.

In the year 2000, he scored an international hit with the romantic coming out story, Presque Rien.
