Ruben Ostlund

Born on Styrsö, an island off Sweden’s west coast, on 13.4.1974, he studied film and photography at Gothenburg University. A proficient skier, he previously made a series of winter sport shorts FREE RADICALS 1-3. His feature film debut was GITARRMONGOT in 2004; his second feature, DE OFRIVILLIGA screened in Cannes (Un Certain Regard) in 2008. (Source: Berlin Film Festival)
