A tender portrayal of four brothers who have drifted apart. One is famed filmmaker Roy Andersson and another is the director’s own father. What has caused this fracture? Can their relationship be patched up again?
This is the premise of Johanna Bernhardson’s feature debut, The Andersson Brothers [+leggi anche:

The Andersson Brothers was produced by Annika Hellström and Erika Malmgren for Sweden’s Cinenic Film, and co-produced by Kristina Börjeson (Film i Väst), Charlotte Madsen (SVT), Kaarle Aho (Finland’s Making Movies) and the director herself, for Subjektobjekt.
Following its world premiere in the Nordic Documentary Competition at Göteborg, the documentary is celebrating its international premiere at the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, which is unspooling from 7-17 March.
