Les Petits Mouchoirs has a glittering cast led by Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard (who will be seen alongside her partner Canet in The Last Flight, to be released on November 11), François Cluzet (Best Actor Cesar for Tell No One and lauded at the Cannes Film Festival in May for his performance in In the Beginning [+see also:

) and Benoît Magimel (who has just finished shooting Cédric Anger’s The Lawyer).

The film also features Valérie Bonneton, Gilles Lellouche, Anne Marivin, Louise Monot, Laurent Lafite, Pascale Arbillot and highly popular actor Jean Dujardin (OSS 117: Lost in Rio [+see also:

).

Written by the director, the film centres on a group of friends who holiday together every summer at Cap Ferret. But the good spirits of the first few days give way to less exalted feelings when they each express their innermost doubts.

Produced by Alain Attal for Productions du Trésor, Les Petits Mouchoirs has co-production backing from France 3 Cinéma.

Shooting will take place in Gironde, Cap Ferret and Paris. Also co-producing, EuropaCorp. will handle domestic distribution and international sales.
