Cinetel-Nielsen agreement on box office data
An important agreement was signed yesterday in Rome between Cinetel, which follows the Italian market of exhibitors and distributors, and Nielsen EDI, which monitors the data of international markets.
Nielsen EDI will now give Cinetel the Flash, Flash Wireless and FilmSource software, which will allow for easier analysis of Italian data published on the web, and access to data on the US market and four other European territories. Cinetel will make available to Nielsen EDI the data on domestic box office earnings and information on the releases of Italian films, in order to publish them on US and other international sites.
