Selected in competition in the section Panorama Internazionale, the comedy by Pontecorvo (Pasinetti Award in Venice in 2008 for his debut film Pa-ra-da) is a sarcastic metaphor for the vices, defects and virtues alive in Italy today: in a small tranquil town of the Marche region, two friends find oil in the courtyard of their cooperative on the brink of bankruptcy. An explosive mix that breaks all the rules: friendships end, marriages crumble and the whole town is left in turmoil.

Tempo instabile... con probabili schiarite stars Luca Zingaretti, Lillo (Pasquale Petrolo), Carolina Crescentini, with a special guest appearance by John Turturro, all highly anticipated in Bari on 21 March for the festival opening night at Teatro Petruzzelli. The film is produced by Panorama Films with Rai Cinema and will be released in theatres on 2 April distributed by Good Films.
